Those crews later went thru end the war parties for Nam, Laos, Cambodia and Laos again. I can still hear the beepers on Guard.

What was your assignment during Linebacker II? : Maintenance controller on Queen flight. It was my fifth and final TDY from the 99th BW, Westover. We were assigned to the cannibalization birds (Ds and Gs) just below Patis Point, on Guam. I watched the planes take off during LBII with chills up and down
